Why do we offer flat-packed packaging options?

Many clients work in an environment where production is driven by unpredictable factors, and therefore they need to keep some stock of their preferred packaging readily available.

Flat-packed packaging offers the following benefits:

• A smaller carbon footprint, for better sustainability.
• Less storage space required per unit.
• Optimised EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) unrestricted by storage constraints or transportation expenses.
• Easy to assemble, when and where needed in your production.

All our packaging is delivered in a flat-packed configuration that dramatically reduces the total storage space needed. For example, if you’re using a Lid-Sleeve-Tray pallet-box combination from our KimmoBox range, or a nail-free plywood crate from our KimmoPly range, your flat-packed packaging will take up less than 20% of their fully assembled state.
